The Plains & Prairies Pack a second Year 1 Season Pass pack for Farming Simulator 25. It released on June 3, 2025 on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and XBox Series X/S.

Description

Welcome Ford to Farming Simulator – a pioneer of industrialization. The Plains & Prairies Pack brings two classic Ford tractors to the game, alongside legendary machines like the Versatile 1080 “Big Roy”, the modern Fendt Rogator 900, and more.

With over 20 vehicles and implements spanning from cult classics like the Ford 976 & 1156 Versatile to modern innovations, you’ll farm the open plains and vast prairies in style. The Plains & Prairies Pack features three new brands Ford, GEA, and Trout River, as well as returning manufacturers Brandt, Fendt, International, Salford, Väderstad & Versatile.

Moving Covers, Lifting Axles!

As the fleet grows, so does the attention to detail: Pneumatic sprayers from Fendt and Salford let you spread solid fertilizer, realistic trailer covers roll over your stored crops, and working lift axles satisfy your hydraulic-loving heart as you maneuver the game's largest manure tanker. Together, these details add to the authenticity of virtual farming.

Trivia and tips

General

  • Before announcement of the DLC, the description of second pack was the performance on plains & prairies. The DLC name refers to the description before its announcement.
  • This DLC returns brand that was featured in previous game as a part of base game - Versatile, which first featured in Farming Simulator 22 as a part of base game. It is the second DLC in the series that returns brand that was in previous game as a part of vanilla game (first - Premium Expansion for Farming Simulator 22, which returns Fiat that debuted in FS19).
    • The DLC also returns Salford brand, which lastly appeared in Farming Simulator 19 with Salford 4204 and Salford 8312 plows before FS25. Salford in this DLC features Salford Independent Series 1260 disc harrow and Salford 9620 Air Boom Applicator fertilizer spreader.
  • Althrough Fendt Rogator 900 was produced by German manufacturer, the vehicle itself appears in American website because this vehicle is often being used in North American countries.
  • Versatile 4WD from FS22 and Versatile DeltaTrack from FS25 are literally same, but the first one (4WD) is wheeled, and the second (DeltaTrack) is tracked.

Mods

  • Althrough Ford tractors appear licensed in this DLC, Ford tractors from some mods still branded as Lizard on consoles, for example, Ford Series SA for PC on Consoles available as Lizard 10 Series SA.

Tips

  • The DLC is fully focused on North America or United States, so the more canonic map to use the DLC machines is a Riverbend Springs, one of the main Farming Simulator 25 maps inspired by North American/United States environment.
  • Comparing vehicle sizes, the best use for Versatile Nemesis and MFWD are small/medium fields, and the best place to use Ford/Versatile 976 and 1156 tractors, alongside with Big Roy and DeltaTrack are large fields, e.g. on the fields of Riverbend Springs southeastern corner.
    • Also comparing equipment sizes, this could be also a good place for new Salford equipment, Väderstad Seed Hawk, Fendt Rogator and GEA EL48 slurry tankers.
