State of the Farm are a series of blogs and livestreams by GIANTS Software, where they say what's next for Farming Simulator.

9 December 2025

This is a sixth State of the Farm episode and third State of the Farm livestream that will be on 9 December 2025.[1]

  • Farming Simulator Signature Edition (Nintendo Switch 2) launch trailer review
  • Year 1 Season Pass and its packs review:
    • NEXAT Pack (released on March 11th 2025): the NEXAT wide-span system which some newbies have problems with and that is good for large fields.
    • Plains & Prairies Pack (released on June 3rd 2025): dedicated to North America, old-school Ford tractors for the first time debut in the game, alongside with a Canadian Versatile tractors featuring Versatile 1080 "Big Roy".
    • Mercedes-Benz Trucks Pack (released on September 9th 2025): with their partnership with Daimler Trucks AG, machines like MB-trac and Unimog, and new camera mirrors feature.
    • Highlands Fishing Expansion (released on November 4th 2025): the expansion which adds Kinlaig with socttish environment and its main feature - fishing.
  • Year 2 Season Pass review:
    • Bonus: JCB World's Fastest Tractor (released on November 18th 2025): the world's fastest tractor joins Farming Simulator with is max speed of 247 kph to have a fun.

State of the Farm Livestream (28 April 2025)

  • State of the Farm livestream was very different from previous two blogs. Here, GIANTS introduced to us japanese livestreamer, showed us Precision Farming gameplay footage and for the first time played the machine guesser.
  • The in-game community pictures showed:
    • Fendt 700 Vario Gen6 with Schwarzmuller Low Loader 4A
    • CLAAS Tractor with forest crane addon and trailer
    • Riding horse in the morning
  • The IRL community pictures showed:
    • Fendt 900 Vario (old generation) standing with cultivator attached
    • Massey Ferguson 7400 Series tractor with Pottinger Novacat mowers going to mow the field
  • These machines were hidden in Machine Guesser part of the livestream:

State of the Farm Livestream (28 July 2025)

  • Known people from Cultivators Program are youtubers that play FS25: Farmer Klein, Farmer Cop, Gamekeepers CZ and The FarmSim Guy.
  • Cultivators from the new Community Cultivators Program are from the USA, the UK, Canada, Spain, Czech Republic, Thailand, Germany, Denmark, Scotland and other countries.
  • A lot of comments during the livestream were about the Third Pack announcement.
  • In the 2nd State of the Farm Livestream, GIANTS confirmed this:
  • The in-game community pictures showed:
    • Renault Ares Tractor with front loader and Albutt Bale King attached on front and bale transport trailer attached on rear
    • Fendt 900 Vario with slurry tanker on the field
    • SAME classic tractor plowing
    • Fendt 700 Vario in the dirt
    • CLAAS TRION 750 barley harvest
  • The IRL community pictures showed:
    • Cows
    • Cat
    • Dog
    • Horses
    • Sheep
  • These machines were hidden in Machine Guesser part of the livestream:
    • John Deere S7 combine harvester - too close view from back and roof
    • Volvo L120H wheel loader - too close view from articulated frame and uncolored

  • Full June 2025 mod spotlight video not only shown already spotlighted mods in separate shorts (talking about Superduty Pickup, Demco Special Transport Trailers, John Deere 50G excavator, John Deere 445 compact tractor and utilitys, Oak City map), but also mods which spotlight has not been released separately as shorts before the 28 July 2025 SotF livestream:

State of the Farm Livestream (9 December 2025)

  • Giveways during the livestream posted in comments are giveways of Year 2 Season Pass and Farming Simulator Signature Edition.
  • There is no Q3 2026 DLC of Year 2 Season Pass, althrough GIANTS will bring some new content updates. Instead of pack for Q3 2026, there will be some other cool content.
  • The in-game community pictures showed:
  • The IRL community pictures showed:
    • Farm animals: cats, dogs, sheep, horses, cows, alligator
  • The CLAAS AXION 9 tractor, JAGUAR 1200 forage harvester, and KRONE BiG Pack HDP II 1290 VC square baler, which were on Agritechnica 2025, were made exclusively for the events, and Benni confirmed that they will be featured in the game.
  • A lot of comments during the livestream were when GIANTS will announce the next mobile Farming Simulator that they call Farming Simulator 26. They confirmed that they will make it eventually, but they have no news to share about it.
