New Holland TC5.90/Farming Simulator 17

The New Holland TC5.90 is a Harvester available in Farming Simulator 17. It is one of the cheaper and smaller Harvesters available in the base game. The TC5.90 is the smallest harvester that can operate any Harvesting Header in the base game.

Advantages

• Sufficient Horsepower: The TC5.90 is the smallest and cheapest harvester that has enough horsepower to operate a super-large Harvesting Header like the New Holland SuperFlex Draper 45FT. It is even capable of operating a small Baler at the same time, or pulling a small Loading Wagon, albeit with some difficulty.
• Power Transfer: The TC5.90 is one of only two harvesters that can turn on an implement attached to its rear. It can therefore use a Baler or Loading Wagon to pick up the Straw it creates, or use a Fertilization machine to fertilize the field immediately during harvest.

Disadvantages

• Slow: The TC5.90 is a very slow harvester. While this does not affect speed during the actual harvest procedure, it does make moving the harvester from field to field somewhat long and tedious. Consider using a Low Loader to transport this harvester around.
• Deep Rear Attachment Point: The TC5.90's rear attachment points are located deep underneath the harvester. This prevents it from hooking up to certain machines.
• Short Pipe: The TC5.90's unloading pipe is rather short, which means it can only easily unload into small and medium Tippers (up to and including the Kröger Agroliner TAW 30, but not the Krampe Bandit 750, which has tall side walls). Attempts to unload into a larger Tipper can result in a collision without complicated maneuvers such as backing into position at an angle. An exception is the Fliegl ASS 298, which has an exceptionally low design for its size.
