Animals come in various shapes and sizes in the Farming Simulator series. Livestock categories across the series include Cows, Sheep, Pigs, Chickens, Horses and Bees. Farming Simulator 13 began the series with cows, sheep, and chickens; with pigs being added in Farming Simulator 17, horses in Farming Simulator 19, and Bees appearing as an animals in Farming Simulator 22. In Farming Simulator 25, Water Buffalos and Goats are introduced.

Update history

  • In Farming Simulator 11, animals were officially introduced with only animals are cows.
  • In Farming Simulator 13, in addition to cows, sheep and chickens are introduced.
  • Farming Simulator 14 is a first mobile game to include animal husbandry with only animals are cows.
  • Farming Simulator 15 doesn't feature any type of new animal.
  • In Farming Simulator 16, in addition to cows, sheep are introduced.
  • In Farming Simulator 17, in addition to cows, sheep and chickens, pigs are introduced.
  • In Farming Simulator 18, in addition to cows and sheep, pigs are introduced.
  • In Farming Simulator 19, in addition to cows, sheep, chickens and pigs, horses are introduced, alongside with a dog.
  • In Farming Simulator 20, in addition to cows, sheep and pigs, horses are introduced.
  • In Farming Simulator 22, in addition to cows, sheep, chickens, pigs, horses and dog, bees were moved to animals: in previous games, they only add money, but in Farming Simulator 22, they produce money to sell manually. Besides, deer also included in the game which runs across every map. Here, animals are great for production chains making with their products.
  • In Farming Simulator 23, in addition to cows, sheep, pigs and horses, chickens are finally introduced.
  • In Farming Simulator 25, in addition to cows, sheep, chickens, pigs, horses, dog and bees, two new animal types are introduced: water buffalos and goats, both of them are related with milk producing. Also, animals in the game now get offspring, meaning baby animals will appear in the pens and will run around them.
