Farming Simulator 19
Farming Simulator 19 is a farming simulator game developed and published by GIANTS Software. It was released on November 20th, 2018. The latest version of the game, 1.7.1.
History of the game
2018
Farming Simulator 19 was announced on 15 February 2018[1]. It was released on 20 November 2018 on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and XBox One.[2] This sequel of Farming Simulator 17 is different than previous game with updated GIANTS Engine up to version 8.[3] Farming Simulator 19 welcomes the John Deere, the largest agriculture company in the USA, new animals - horses and two new crops - oats and cotton.[4] Two new maps were introduced in game - Ravenport, which is based on the USA, and Felsbrunn, which is based on Germany.
The game supports all mods made by GIANTS Modding Community.
2019
Update 1.2 introduced the landscaping featurette. First DLC for the game, the Anderson Group Equipment Pack, released on 26 March 2019, and introduced more trailer TMR mixers, returned round bale stackers, added new square bale stackers, added self-propelled bale wrappers, and introduced new baling feature: the poplar baling with the Anderson Group Biobaler WB-55.[5] The free HOLMER Terra Variant DLC released on 14 May 2019 and added two Terra Variant tractors - the HOLMER Terra Variant 435 and HOLMER Terra Variant 585 with tools for it[6]
The John Deere Cotton Pack released on 23 July 2019 and expanded cotton harvesting with new cotton round bales, which can be made while harvesting cotton with the John Deere CP690 cotton harvester. Besides, McCormack Industries joining the game with round bale grabbers, and two new cotton round bale trailers by Lizard.[7] Platinum Expansion introduced new vehicles and equipment by CLAAS and released alongside with Platinum Edition on 22 October 2019.[8]
Besides, the mod DLC was released on 18 April 2019, the HORSCH AgroVation and vehicles for it. It introduces conversion to current FS19 standard, added HORSCH Serto 12SC, HORSCH Shuttle 2000 and HORSCH Maestro SW 24.75,[9] and the popular Seasons mod is out on 24 July 2019 for PC and Mac.[10] and out on 17 December 2019 for PlayStation 4 and XBox One.[11]
Brand-new Farming Simulator League series of championship started. They're based on Farming Simulator 19.
2020
On 27 February 2020, CLAAS Patch 1.2 released and introduced some bug fixes and new additions.[12] First DLC of 2020, the Bourgault DLC, is out on 10 March 2020 and added the John Deere 9RX Series and titan-sized ground working equipment by Bourgault.[13] GIANTS also recommended some mod maps such as their own Estancia Lapacho, Welker Farms, Westbridge Hills and more.[14]
The free Straw Harvest Add-on is out on ModHub on 14 April 2020. It is introduced pellet producing.[15] Kverneland and Vicon Equipment Pack expanded family of Kverneland and Vicon.[16]
The second biggest expansion, the Alpine Farming Expansion, is out on 12 November 2020,[17] and added new map - Erlengrat,[18] alongside with 32 new vehicles and equipment. Originally there were 30 vehicles and equipment, and, after the release of gamescom trailer, the Lindner Lintrac 130 and Bührer 6105 were added.[19] The DLC was released alongside with Premium Edition of the game.[20]
The Precision Farming DLC was released for free on 8 December 2020[21] in collaboration with EIT Food, it is introduced soil sampling[22] with ISARIA SCOUT, pH and Nitrogen value[23] and more.
Besides, there are more mods on tractors released - the John Deere 6M Series small tractor is out on 2 July 2020,[24] and Valtra G Series and its own Nokian Tyres are out on 28 August 2020.[25]
2021
Grimme Pack is a third-party pack by Peppe978, which being the first 2021 DLC for the game. It is released on 26 January 2021 and added new potato harvesting machines.[26] The latest DLC for the game, the Rottne Pack, is out on 16 March 2021 and added the Rottne F20D forwarder and Rottne H21D forestry harvester.[27]
The mod of 2021, the contest winning map, the Swiss Future Farm, is out on 31 March 2021.[28]

Content
Crops
- In Farming Simulator 19 there are 13 types of crops.
- Wheat, Barley, Canola, Sunflowers, Soybeans, Corn, Oat, Oilseed Radish, Potatoes, Sugar Beet, Poplars, Sugarcane, Cotton
Machines
- A large variety of completely new tools categories, including Forklifts, Subsoilers, Poplar Balers, and tools related to the other new features on this list.
- Multiple John Deere machines, as well as multiple other new companies.
- A new Dolly for attaching 3-Point Hitch tools to non-Tractors vehicles.
- Crop Destruction is now an integral game feature (no DLC required). Vehicles destroy crops when driving over them. This feature can be turned off during gameplay.
- Multiple new upgrades to install on your machines. Several tools can change shape, size and function simply by installing or removing an upgrade. Most machines can switch between different types of tires and wheels, including various field- and street-tires.
- Fixed daily maintenance costs have been replaced with a Damage system and voluntary repair costs. Damaged tools are now less efficient.
Animals
- Animal pens are no longer present on the map at game-start; They must instead be bought and placed manually. Each Pen now has a hard limit on the number of animals allowed inside. You may build multiple pens of each type.
- Animals now multiply when properly fed.
- New animal: Horses. Horses can be bought and sold. You may ride horses around on the map, increasing their value.
- Chickens now produce their Eggs as Pallets, and no longer need to be collected by hand.
- Milk must now be transported to a sale point by Tankers.
- In the Erlengrat, start in the "New Farmer" giving the 10 cows (5 black & 5 brown).
Maps and Map Management
- Two new maps and one DLC-Map: Ravenport, Felsbrunn and Erlengrat.
- You must purchase whole land Parcels to gain access to their fields and other resources. The Biogas Plant must now be purchased in order to produce Digestate.
- Bunker Silos may now be placed anywhere on flat land to produce Silage away from the Biogas Plant.
- A Landscaping tool is introduced, to modify and paint the terrain in-game for a price.
- The "Farm Manager" mode lets you start with no assets and lots of money. The "Start from Scratch" mode starts you off with very little money and the economy set to Hard difficulty. On "New Farmer" mode, you begin with some equipment (the selection changes with each map) and 100,000 dollars.
- Anderson Group Equipment Pack: adds Anderson Group machines, included self-propelled XTRACTOR bale wrappes and BioBaler, which makes poplar bales.
- John Deere Cotton DLC: adds John Deere CP690 cotton harvester with option to make round cotton bales.
- Platinum Expansion: adds CLAAS equipment to your farm.
- Bourgault DLC: adds John Deere 9RX Series tractor and large Bourgault equipment.
- Kverneland and Vicon Equipment Pack: adds Kverneland and Vicon equipment - Kverneland is mostly focused on ground works, and Vicon on grassland.
- Alpine Farming Expansion: adds new map - Erlengrat, which is located in Swiss-German Alps, and new machines.
- Grimme Equipment Pack: adds new machines by Grimme with advanced potato harvesting, including potato production and digging out potatoes from ground.
- Rottne DLC: adds two forest machinery by Rottne.
