Soybean/Farming Simulator 19

Requires: cultivator, seeder, harvester with a header for grain;

One of the basic field crops planted as seed. Soybean can be sowed by almost every seeder and planter. Soybean has a relatively high harvest value/ha with a low volume, making it a good crop for small or starting farmers without large or expensive equipment or wanting to spend time on harvesting swaths. However, as straw is not produced (see below), the total profit/ha is less than other basic crops that do produce straw.

Usage: Used as a cash crop, food for pigs, or (using a special harvester) to chop into chaff for making silage.

Special characteristics: As it is not a cereal crop (like wheat, barley and oat), harvesting soybean does not leave straw swaths when harvesting in the base game. The mod StrawMe enables leaving straw which can be collected - you can either sell it or use for animal bedding (pigs and cows). After that, the animals will produce manure.
