Farming Simulator 08
Farming Simulator 2008 (or Farmer Simulator 08) is the first game that appeared in the Farming Simulator series. The game is extremely similar to Farming Simulator 2009, due to the same objects put in the game.
Content
Maps
The game is set on "Island of Giants" (Insel der Giganten), a 4 km² island with a 6-kilometer coastline and a population of 49. The island features 240 hectares of arable land and a small village with a church. A bridge is under construction, and the only connection to the mainland is via the harbor. The player's farm is the sole agricultural operation on the island. (This is translation from official giants handbook, that is located in game installation folder. Handbook in German language)
Crops
From the crops, there are only grain crops (such as wheat, barley, canola and etc.)
Vehicles and equipment
Gameplay
Farming Simulator 2008 features core farming mechanics, including plowing, cultivating, sowing, fertilizing, and harvesting. The entire map consists of wheat fields ready for harvest, all belonging to the player. Players harvest the wheat and store it in silos or sell it at the harbor to generate income. The initial release featured a limited selection vehicles. Including two Fendt tractors and two Fendt combines, along with other unbranded implements.
Mods
The game was conditionally able to support mods, however, it looked to be experimental. Also, the graphics were poor. The objects in Farming Simulator 2009 and Farming Simulator 2008 were possibly released in 2007, games being released 1 year before, so possibly Farming Simulator was already appearing in 2007, but of course, this is undisputed fact and true,
