The Brantner E 8041 is a Tipper available in Farming Simulator 17. It is one of the smallest and cheapest Tippers in the base game. The E 8041 is designed to be easily attached into long chains. It is both light and maneuverable. A single E 8041, however, has very little capacity on its own.
Advantages
- Cheap: The E 8041 is the second cheapest Tipper in the game, and one of the most cost-efficient in terms of Price per Capacity.
- Good All-Round Maneuverability: The E 8041 only has one axle, as well as a fixed towing boom. This gives it a relatively small turning radius, and makes it very easy to maneuver when driving in reverse. These factors make it easier hitch several E 8041s in a long chain.
- Very Light: The E 8041 weighs very little when empty - just under 2 tons. Even when full, it is possible to tow an E 8041 with a Small-class Tractor. A Medium Tractor can tow a chain of 2 or 3 of these. A larger vehicle may be able to tow many more.
- Physically Small: The side walls of the E 8041 are low enough that any machine in the game should be able to load cargo into it, including the smallest Harvesters.
- Multiple Unload Options: The E 8041 can tip its cargo out the rear door, a rear grain door, a left door, or a right door.
- Full Color Customization: The E 8041 is the only Tipper that can be fully repainted in any color (including the rims).
Disadvantages
- Very Low Capacity: With only 8,500 Liters of holding space, the E 8041 is mostly useful for moving small amounts of cargo. However you can easily chain up several of these, increasing the total holding space as necessary, for less money than you'd spend on a larger Tipper.
- Poor Traction: The E 8041 only has a single axle with two wheels. It does not have good traction, and is thus a little harder to pull uphill.
