DFM RT3000/Farming Simulator 17

The DFM RT3000 is a Loading Tool available in Farming Simulator 17. It is a type of Tree Cutter that can only be fitted to Skid Steer Loaders. The RT3000 is a good vehicle-mounted alternative to cutting down trees with a hand-held Chainsaw - except the cutting action of the RT3000 is significantly quicker.

Advantages

• Skid Steer Attachment: The RT3000 can only be mounted on Skid Steer Loaders, but these are good vehicles for Forestry work, small and highly maneuverable.

Disadvantages

• Can't Lift: Unlike the Tractor-mounted DFM TR3200, the RT3000 cannot pick up logs it after they have fallen.
• Can't Remove Branches: The DFM RT3000 cannot remove branches from the trees it cuts down.
• Expensive: The RT3200 costs almost twice as much as a DFM TR3200, and almost ten times more than a hand-held Chainsaw.

Gameplay Note

The store lists this tool as having a Maximum Work Speed of 10 km/h / 6 mph. This does not apply in-game. Activating the tool, however, does take power from the Skid Steer, reducing its acceleration.
