Tractors

Tractors are vehicles capable of towing and operating almost any type of equipment in the game. A single tractor can perform nearly any job on your farm given the correct equipment, with very few exceptions. Although tractors are typically not the best vehicles for most jobs (e.g. forestry, towing tippers, stacking pallets), a good tractor can fill in for any expensive machine you can't afford yet, and often costs much less to buy.

Harvesters

There are 3 grain harvesters, 1 trailed potato harvester, 1 trailed beet harvester, and 1 forage harvesters. Potato and sugar beet are new crops for this mobile game. Krone BiG X 1100 is only forage harvester of the game (it can harvest only corn for silage), Grimme SE 260 (potato) and Grimme Rootster 604 (sugar beet) are only root crop harvesters in the game.

Bale Tools

There are only two bale tools introduced in Farming Simulator 16 - the New Holland BigBaler 1290 square baler and Arcusin FS 63-72 bale stacker. No round bales in this game.

Cultivators

Cultivator is a long slong device that uses metal blades to dig into the ground, preparing it for sowing crops. Cultivators are used after harvesting to remove any traces of the previous crop.

There are 4 types of cultivators in Farming Simulator 16, which the last one in the list, the Lemken Heliodor Gigant, was added alongside with a JCB Fastrac 8310 in the update.

Sowing Machines

In Farming Simulator 16, two types of sowing machines are present in game - the base sowing machines, which are used to plant wheat, canola, corn and sugar beet, and the Grimme GL 660 potato planter.

Fertilizer Spreaders

In Farming Simulator 16, you can fertilize your crops with solid fertilizer, slurry or manure. There is only 1 manure spreader in game - the Amazone ZA-M 1501, two slurry tankers - Marshall ST 1800 and Zunhammer SKE 18.5 PU, and two manure spreaders - the Bergmann M 1080 and Gilibert Helios 15.

Tippers

Tippers are used to transport grain, silage and wood chips. There are 4 types of tippers introduced in Farming Simulator 16. The fifth one, the Krampe SB 30/60, is related with tippers too, but it is in the "Transports" shop category.

Mowers

The disc mowers are used to cut grass, which later can be tedded with tedder or collected in bales. There are 2 types of mowers in Farming Simulator 16 - the Pöttinger Novacat 302 ED and Kuhn FC 10030. Both of them are rear-mounted.

Tedders

Tedder is a device designed to help Grass dry after it has been Mowed. Drying Grass is the first step towards creating Hay, an important component in Cow feed, which can also be transformed directly into Silage. Tedding is the only way to cause Grass to dry - it will not do so spontaneously.

Windrowers

Windrower is a device designed to make collection of Mowed Grass, Dried Grass and Straw easier, by pulling together these loose substances and rearranging them into a single thin line. Collection devices like Loading Wagons and Balers will then be able to collect all of the material in one single pass, rather than several passes.

Loading Wagons

A Loading Wagon (or "Forage Wagon") is an open receptacle on wheels, which can be filled with Grass, Straw or Chaff. Unlike a Tipper, the Loading Wagon can also collect Grass and Straw directly from the field. A Loading Wagon can dump its cargo at specific locations (such as selling points).

Forestry

There are three types of forestry machines introduced in FS16 - the FSI ST 65 stump grinder, Ponsse ScorpionKing forestry harvester, and Ponsse Buffalo forwarder, which is designed for log transport.
