The Fliegl Dolly EA is a type of Dolly in Farming Simulator 17. It is the only model of Dolly in the base game. Overall, it is quite adequate for its purpose.
Advantages
- Cheap: The Fliegl Dolly EA costs only $9,000, allowing you to attach a Semi-Trailer to a Car, Tractor, or other vehicle that you already own - instead of spending at least $120,000 for a Truck. This is a substantial saving, but is not without caveats.
Disadvantages
- Double Hinged: Both the front and rear attachment points of the Dolly EA are free-turning. While this minimizes the turning radius when traveling forward, it makes reversing with a Semi-Trailer exceptionally difficult and frustrating.
- Heavy: The Dolly EA weighs almost 4 tons on its own, not counting the Semi-Trailer that will be attached to it, nor the Semi-Trailer's cargo. This puts a substantial extra strain on the towing vehicle.
