Fliegl Low Loader/Farming Simulator 17

The Fliegl Low Loader is a type of Low Loader in Farming Simulator 17. Of the two available Low Loaders in the base game, it has a longer main platform, but also slightly narrower. It only has one secondary platform, which can be accessed by ramp from the main platform. This low loader is suitable for narrow vehicles, and may be able to fit many of them at the same time.

Advantages

• Cheaper: The Fliegl Low Loader is the cheapest Low Loader model available in the base game, but only by a small margin.
• Secondary Platform with Ramp: The Fliegl Low Loader's secondary platform is situated at its front end, and has a pair of ramps leading up to it. This allows a vehicle to drive right up from the main platform to the secondary platform, leaving more room on the main platform for an additional vehicle. This effectively increases the total length of the Low Loader to around 12.5 meters.
• Hinged Ramps: The Fliegl Low Loader makes itself accessible to vehicles by lowering two narrow ramps at the back. When the ramps are stopped in a horizontal position, they effectively increase the potential length of the main platform, acting as an extension.

Disadvantages

• Narrower: The main platform of the Fliegl Low Loader is only 2.5 meters wide. Many vehicles, primarily larger ones, are too wide for it, and cannot keep all of their wheels on the platform simultaneously. This makes the Fliegl Low Loader more suitable for narrower vehicles.
• High Off the Ground: Despite being a "Low" Loader, the Fliegl Low Loader's main platform is actually a little more than a meter off the ground. This moves the center-of-mass of any loaded vehicle upwards. As a result, sharp turns are more likely to fling the loaded vehicle off the platform. The height also makes it difficult or impossible for vehicles to climb up to the platform without using the rear hinged ramp.
