The Fliegl TimberRunner is a Log Trailer available in Farming Simulator 15. It can transport a large quantity of Logs from the place they were cut to a selling point. This is the only Log Trailer in the base game that can neither load nor unload itself - it relies on other machines for that task.

Overview

The TimberRunner is the largest Log Trailer available in the base game. It is a flatbed trailer with bounding spikes that can be loaded with a very large quantity of Logs, produced by cutting down trees. It can then transport these Logs to their selling point, or to the location of your Wood Chipper.

The TimberRunner is the longest of all Log Trailers, and can carry whole trees without the need to chop them up into manageable pieces - though shorter pieces may be easier to handle when loading and unloading this trailer. The exact quantity of Logs this trailer can carry is not exact, since it depends on the length, width and shape of the logs being loaded into it - but it certainly has much more room than other Log Trailers.

The TimberRunner has a Fifth Wheel hitch at the front, which can only be directly attached to a Truck. It can also be indirectly attached to a Tractor, using a Dolly as an adapter between the TimberRunner and the Tractor. Note that while any tractor can be used this way, the TimberRunner is far too heavy for a small tractor to tow comfortably (especially when fully loaded). Consider using a large or very large tractor for this task (more than 300 hp).

The TimberRunner is the only Log Trailer that cannot load nor unload itself. It has no hydraulic arm that can pick up Logs, nor does it have a hydraulic tipping mechanism that can dump the Logs at their destination. All of this work must be done with a separate vehicle, usually a Front Loaders with a Log Handler attachment. This makes the TimberRunner somewhat inferior to self-loading Log Trailers in terms of the amount of work involved.
