Fliegl Timber Runner/Farming Simulator 17

The Fliegl Timber Runner is a Log Transport available in Farming Simulator 17. It is the cheapest Log Trailer, but also the largest. It lacks a crane arm altogether, and cannot move under its own power. It is meant to be towed by Truck or Dolly. This is a simple tool for moving large quantities of Logs, with no fancy special features.

Advantages

• Very Cheap: The Timber Runner is the cheapest of all Log Transports by a wide margin. It is $37,000 cheaper than the next model, the Stepa FHL 13 AK.
• Very Large Capacity: The total surface area of the Timber Runner's storage bay is approximately 30 m², and its side-ribs are quite tall. This makes it the largest of all Log Transports. It is also long enough to easily contain logs of maximum length (8m). Note that the surface area for moving other solid objects (e.g. Pallets) is significantly smaller than that.

Disadvantages

• No Crane Arm: Unlike other Log Transports, the Timber Runner does not feature a crane arm for lifting logs into the storage bay. Therefore, a Loader (or another Log Transport with its own arm) will need to load the logs in.
• Not Self Propelled: The Timber Runner is a simple trailer designed for towing with a Truck or Dolly. It is quite heavy even when empty, so a powerful towing vehicle is recommended.
