The JCB 260 is a Skid Steer Loader available in Farming Simulator 17. Of the two available Skid Steer Loaders in the game, this one is the wheeled version (and cheaper). Wheels (as opposed to tracks) are slightly less stable when lifting heavy objects - particularly when operating at high speeds or making sharp turns, which a Skid Steer Loader often does.

Advantages

  • Cheap: The JCB 260 is the cheaper of the two Skid Steer models available in the base game, by $15,000.
  • Slightly Higher Reach: The JCB 260's arm can reach about 5% to 10% higher than that of the JCB 325T.

Disadvantages

  • Wheel Brakes: The JCB 260 has a slightly longer braking time than the JCB 325T.
  • Less Stable: When lifting heavy weights, the JCB 260 has a slightly higher chance of tipping over when accelerating, braking, or making sharp turns, as compared to the JCB 325T.
