The Jenz HE 700 StA is a type of Wood Chipper in Farming Simulator 17. It is the only Placeable Wood Chipper in the game - an immobile machine that does not require activation or an external power source, but also cannot be moved from place to place. The HE 700 StA does not unload any Wood Chips - instead it sells them immediately as though the wood chips were dumped at the local Sawmill.

Advantages

  • Automatic Sale: As soon as the HE 700 StA produces Wood Chips, it immediately sells them. There is no need to unload this machine into a Container and carry the Wood Chips to a sale point. This can save you a lot of work, especially if the HE 700 StA is placed right next to your logging area.
  • Self-Powered: The HE 700 StA is constantly active. It does not need to be (and cannot be) connected to any vehicle in order to work. It does not consume fuel, either.

Disadvantages

  • Immobile: The HE 700 StA cannot be moved from place to place. Once it has been placed on the map, it will remain there permanently, or until sold back to the store. Make sure to place it next to your favorite Forestry area, and rotate it correctly so that loading machines can easily access it. It's a good idea to place this machine on flat terrain, to make sure that the input belt doesn't end up being too far off the ground.
  • Immediate Sale: All Wood Chips created by the He 700 StA are sold immediately, at the current price listed for the local Sawmill. While this usually saves a lot of effort (instead of carrying the Wood Chips to the Sawmill yourself), it also means that you cannot store the Wood Chips while waiting for the price to go up. Instead you'll need to store the original Logs, and only feed them into the HE 700 StA when the price of Wood Chips is suitable for you.
