The Köckerling Trio 300 M is a Cultivator available in Farming Simulator 15. It is the smallest Cultivator in the game, and is included as part of the starting equipment. This machine is designed to prepare fields for seeding. Despite being the smallest Cultivator, it is already more useful for this task than any Plow.

Overview

The Trio 300 M is the smallest and cheapest Cultivator in the game. One is provided to the player when starting a new campaign.

The Trio 300 M is an array of metal blades, wheels and spikes, suspended under a metal frame. When this device is lowered and run across a field, it will churn and smooth the soil it passes over, leaving it suitable for seeding.

The Trio 300 M has a Three-point hitch at the front, which can be attached to any tractor in the game. When attached this way and lowered, the Trio 300 M will plow any soil it passes over. It will destroy crops as it passes, no matter what growth stage they are in. It does not remove any fertilizer that may still be in the ground. The cultivated ground may then be seeded with any crop.

The Trio 300 M does not need any power to operate, even though the shop claims that it requires 74 kW / 100 hp. However, it is a heavy device for its size, meaning that smaller tractors may be unable to tow it at all unless the heavy Trio 300 M is counter-balanced with a Weight attached to the tractor's front side. It may also be difficult to drag this plow up-hill with smaller tractors. While working, the Trio 300 M enforces a speed limit of 17 km/h.

The working width of the Trio 300 M is 3.0 meters, allowing it to slowly but surely process the field. In fact, when used with a Hired Worker, the Trio 300 M is one of the most reliable tools in the game - it will rarely (if ever) leave any patches of the field unprocessed. Its small size also allows for great maneuverability on fields bounded by plenty of obstacles. Keep this in mind if your larger Cultivators tend to get stuck on trees, rocks, buildings or even traffic near a particular field - the Trio 300 M may be more suitable for that field.

Due to its small width, the Trio 300 M is the only Cultivator that does not have, nor requires, the ability to fold itself.
