The Kotte FRC is a Slurry Field Tank available in Farming Simulator 15. Its only purpose is to store Slurry near your fields, so that Slurry Spreaders can refill themselves on location instead of having to drive back to one of the stationary tanks on the map. The FRC itself can only be filled by a mobile Slurry Tanker. The Kotte FRC can receive a custom paint-job on purchase.

Overview

The Kotte FRC is a simple rectangular tank on wheels, which is capable of holding a large quantity of Slurry. The tank has an apparatus that can overload Slurry into other Slurry-related machinery, particularly Slurry Spreaders.

As long as the FRC contains at least 1 liter of Slurry, any Slurry Spreader can be driven up next to this field tank to refill itself with Slurry. This behaves the same way as refilling at any of the stationary Slurry Tanks on the map.

Of course, unlike stationary tanks, the FRC's advantage is that it is mobile. It has a Drawbar (Bolt) hitch which can be only be attached directly to the smaller tractors in the game. It is, however, recommended that you use a Weight as an adapter, and attach it to a much larger tractor instead.

When attached to a towing vehicle, the FRC can be dragged between fields as necessary, in order to service any Slurry fertilization work taking place on those fields. Once it reaches its destination, the FRC does not need to be attached to a vehicle in order to operate.

The FRC itself cannot be filled from any of the stationary tanks on the map. It can only be filled using a Kotte TSA 30000. The TSA 30000, which can fill itself at those stationary tanks, will then drive up to the FRC and unload into it.

The FRC has a capacity of 55,000 liters of Slurry. This is enough to refill most Slurry Spreaders at least twice, before the FRC itself needs to be refilled.

Although the store claims that the FRC has a power requirement of 37 kW / 50 hp, this number is misleading. The device has no real power requirements, since it cannot be activated. But even more so, a tractor with less than about 150 hp will have serious problems moving the FRC around when it is full, and might even struggle with the empty tank. When full, the FRC may require an even stronger towing vehicle - upwards of 300 hp - to pull it comfortably.

On purchase of a new Kotte FRC, you may it a custom paint-job. It is one of very few vehicles in the game that can receive such a paint job.
