Lizard Mobile Water Tank/Farming Simulator 15
The Lizard Mobile Water Tank is the only Water Tanker available in Farming Simulator 15. It is designed to ferry Water between a watering trough and one of your Greenhouses. Water is required for a Greenhouse to make any profits
Overview
You may purchase Greenhouses in order to create a stady income. Greenhouses can produce up to $160 an hour, making for a decent profit on their purchase value. However, in order to produce any income, they must first be supplied with water.
The only way to do so is with the help of a Water Tanker, and the only such device available in the game is the Lizard Mobile Water Tank. This device is in fact nothing more than a solid metal container on wheels, which can contain up to 6,000 liters of water.
The device has a Drawbar (Ball) hitch at the front. It can therefore be attached to any tractor in the game, as well as the Lizard PiQup and most Harvesters. Since the device has no mechanical abilities, it does not require power, and can be used by any towing vehicle.
To fill the Mobile Water Tank with Water, you'll need to drive it next to a watering trough. These exist in a variety of locations on each map, and are not marked. As soon as the tank is next to the trough, you can press the "Refill" button to begin pumping water into it. The loading will stop if the tank is full, if you drive away from it, or if you hit the Refill button a second time. Water is purchased at a price of $0.2 per liter. A full tank of water will therefore cost you $1200.
Alternately, you can simply back the tank up into a river or water source and refill it for free.
Water can only be unloaded at one of your Greenhouses. To do this, drive up next to the small dark tank sitting next to the structure. Note that the unloading point is very small, and it requires some skill to get the Mobile Water Tank close enough to it. Press the button to begin unloading the tanker. Remember that the Greenhouse water tanks can only hold up to 2,000 liters at a time, so you can fill three Greenhouses on a single Mobile Water Tank.
As long as the Greenhouse has some water in its tank, it will begin to produce $40 every hour, and water will be consumed out of the tank at a rate of 22 liters per hour. If the Greenhouse also has Manure in its fertilizer box as well, the income will be $80 an hour. Both the income and the consumption of water occurs only on the full hour.
