Lizard S-710/Farming Simulator 17

The Lizard S-710 is a Conveyor Belt piece available in Farming Simulator 17. Specifically it is a Pickup Belt, and the only one of its kind in the base game. It can pick up Piles from a very wide area in front of its input node, and pass it on to another Conveyor Belt.

Advantages

• Self Loading: The S-710 is a Pickup Belt, whose purpose is to collect materials from a Pile on the ground, and pass it on to the next Conveyor Belt piece in the chain. There is no way or need to dump materials onto an S-710.
• Large Pickup Zone: The S-710 can pick up materials from piles within a 12.0 x 6.0 meter box in front of the input node (the end of the belt that touches the ground).

You can then move the S-710, albeit at a very slow speed. This is typically used to adjust the S-710's position, rather than move it from place to place.
• Folding Hitch: The Drawbar (Bolt) attachment on the S-710 can be folded up once it is at its destination. This is necessary in order to drive the S-710 effectively (see prev. point). The hitch can later be unfolded to return the S-710 to towing mode.

This may help when trying to connect the next Conveyor Belt piece to this one.

Disadvantages

• Short: The S-710 is a very short belt piece. It cannot transport material a long distance away, and is not tall enough to fill most machines and containers in the game. For either task, you need to connect other Conveyor Belt pieces to the S-710, as explained in the article on Conveyor Belts.
