Farming Simulator 19 Multiplayer is a feature that was first introduced in Farming Simulator 2011. It allows different players to work on the same farm via different devices. In Farming Simulator 14, the players must be within range of a device's bluetooth. On the desktop versions, the multiplayer is done via the internet, and thus the players' physical location is not relevant.
