The Vogel & Noot Terra Disc 600 is a mid-sized Cultivator available in Farming Simulator 15. It is the largest Cultivator in the game that has a Three-point hitch.

Overview

The Terra Disc 600 is a mid-sized Cultivator. It is twice as large as your starting Cultivator, and its size rivals any Plow you can buy in the base game.

The Terra Disc 600 is an array of metal blades, wheels and spikes, suspended under a metal frame. It has a two wheels mounted on a hydraulic folding shaft at the back, to support itself while in transport. When this device is unfolded, lowered, and towed across a field, it will churn and smooth the soil it passes over, leaving it suitable for seeding.

The Terra Disc 600 has a Three-point hitch at the front, which can be attached to any tractor in the game. It is the largest Cultivator that has such a hitch. When attached this way, unfolded, and lowered, the Terra Disc 600 will plow any soil it passes over. It will destroy crops as it passes, no matter what growth stage they are in. It does not remove any fertilizer that may still be in the ground. The cultivated ground may then be seeded with any crop.

The Terra Disc 600 does not need any power to operate, even though the shop claims that it requires 162 kW / 220 hp. However, this can be seen as a suggested power for its towing tractor, because the Terra Disc 600 is simply too heavy to be operated by a smaller tractor - it will become almost immobile once its blades dig into the ground. Even a mid-sized tractor may require a Weight attached to its front side, to balance the weight of the Terra Disc 600. While working, the Terra Disc 600 enforces a speed limit of 17 km/h.

The working width of the Terra Disc 600 is 6.0 meters. This is as wide as any of the Plows in the base game, making the Terra Disc 600 superior to all of them for purposes of preparing existing fields for seeding. The Terra Disc 600 is 33% wider than its next-smaller counterpart, the Horsch Terrano 5 FM, but is almost twice as expensive.
