Barley is a grain crop harvested by a combine harvester fitted with a grain header.
The essential steps to grow crops in Farming Simulator 20 are cultivating, sowing and harvesting.
It is optional to apply a fertilizer to the field but doing so will increase the yield by 50%.
Use
There are several ways to profit from barley:
- Sell the grain to a Station
- Feed the grain to your pigs
- Collect and sell straw straw to the Barn
- Make straw bales to store or sell.
- Make chaff using a forage harvester (with the correct header and a tipper attached). Chaff can be sold at the Biogas Station.
