A cultivator prepares the ground for seeding, it does this by breaking up the soil and burring any remaining crops or roots left after harvest. Some seeders allow you to direct drill into the ground so you do not need to cultivate. You must cultivate or prepare the ground in some other way by either subsoiling or plowing before you can plant crops from a planter.
Cultivating can be done by a worker.
