Silage is used to feed Cows, in the making of Total Mixed Ration and also can be sold to the Biogas Plant for cash and Digestate.
Production
Silage is made from either Chaff or Grass and put into a silage bunker and then compacted using a tractor. The grass or chaff then ferments into silage which can then be used.
